Moreover, you are in a "kallanka", with doors, windows and several niches hosting ceramic pots and figures of polished surfaces, accompanied with solid dark wood ceremonial chairs. Within this well resembled astonishing stone architecture, you will comfortably relax in any of the two Queen beds, which reproduce the geometric simplicity and elegance characteristic of the Incas, heated with specially designed alpaca bed covers.

Highlights on history

In the 15th century Incas Tupac Yupanqui and Huayna Cápac conquered the territory of the present-day Ecuador and incorporated it into their empire, the Tahuantinsuyo, which also included the territories of southern Colombia, Peru and Bolivia, the northern half of Chile and northwest Argentina. With this aim, they used several methods that included the military conquest to peaceful assimilation.

The Inca Empire was the largest empire in the Americas before the arrival of Columbus.

Ingapirca, in Cañar Province, is the finest example of Inca stonework in the Ecuador. This site provides proof that the Incas were once there, as in the ruins you can still see traces of their geometric buildings.

Inca civilization, despite being just 100 years in our actual territories, was one of the strongest and impressive cultures found in South America.
